Nominate a Veteran for Grand Marshal

Do you know a Veteran who would be the best person to lead the 2026 Anacortes Veterans Parade?

The Grand Marshal is selected as a special honor and will lead the 2026 parade. We are seeking a local American veteran who:

• Demonstrates strong moral character

• Is actively involved in the community

• Shows a deep love for our country

• Generously gives their time, talents, and energy to make our community a better place to live

The 2026 Grand Marshal will be selected by the Anacortes Veterans Parade Committee based on the information provided with each nomination.

In addition to leading the parade, the Grand Marshal will be recognized at the Veterans Parade Static Display following the parade and featured on our website as the Grand Marshal of the 2026 Anacortes Veterans Parade.

Help us make this historic celebration even more meaningful as we commemorate our nation’s 250th birthday and honor the brave veterans who have protected our freedom.

The deadline to submit a nomination is October 10, 2026.
